Update

I haven't posted in forever because I have been so busy. Eversince Thanksgiving I have had a lot of homework to do. My thanksigiving was great though because I got to see all of my extended family. We usually don't see them over Thanksgiving, but we did this year because my Uncle was getting married and Fulmaya was a flower girl. Jake, my uncle is so cool, he is only like 25 and one of the youth pastors at his church's youth group.

Tomorrow, or today actually, my family is leaving for Indiana again and we won't be back for almost two weeks. This means that I get home on the 3rd and have one day of rest than I go back to COACH. It's the fourth time we have been to Indiana this year. We wouldn't be going except that my dads parents are taking all their kids and spouses to Hawaii for a week. So me and my brothers might get to stay with Jake and Kristen for part of the time. I love going to see my grandparents because I have an aunt who is 16 and an uncle who is 18. Weird huh!! And I also have cousins who are a couple years younger than me. We always have a lot of fun.

To vear away from topic I have been wondering a lot about how much Christmas has changed over the years. for many people it is just a time to see friends and family and has no real value at all. And I have caught myself getting caught up in the busy more worldly side of Christmas recently. But really with all the controversity about Christmas won't let you forget what Christmas is really all about. Even though Norman's Christmas parade was changed to a holiday parade i saw a man in the parade who had a sign that said something like "Merry CHRISTmas: Christ's special holiday" and I thought that was very neat. And even though people are pushing now for Happy Holidays we need to remember that Holiday is just a rude form of Holy-day. So when people say "Happy Holidays" they are really saying Happy Holy-day.

Merry CHRISTmas!!

P.S. Please update so that i know you read it.

Glad you had a fun over the holidays. I know about the whole cousin/aunt/uncle age thing. My cousin and my dad are the same age.

That's a good point about Christmas. We all too often don't treat it the way it should be treated.

John: No it's not Anderson, why? My moms parents live in Indianapolis and my dads live in Fountaintown.

Lydia: It is a lot of fun visiting my cousins because we always have things to do. But eve though I have an aunt and uncle my age we don't ever do much, but watch t.v. so it gets a little boring after awhile.
